The Arborist Firewood Mix

This is a balanced mix of softwoods and hardwoods firewood that is leftover from our residential pruning and tree removal.

In every cube, we would expect to find Cherry, Pohutakawa, Conifer, smaller amounts of gum, bottle brush, and various natives. This gives a good range of heat and burn times. This is seasonal as we upcycle what we produce and stocks quickly sell out – it does pay to pre-order to ensure you get your order promptly.

This is a product we produce from our residential prunings and tree removals that have been fed through one of our two mulchers, and then stockpiled to age.

The mulch is then sold to the gardening public to add to their gardens as a weed suppressant, to preserve moisture levels in the soil, to reduce heat and cold stress in the root zone of your plants, and finally to build up the soil micro-organisms in your soil as the mulch breaks down – much as the leaf litter does on the forest floor.

We generally have good supplies in stock to collect or to have delivered.
